Updating your Driver App

From 31/10/2023 we will no longer be supporting old versions of the Driver App. Our statistics show that most users are on the latest version of the app, but there are some that are not. This means that when we stop the support, those users on Driver App version 2.1.0 or lower, which are more than 2 years old, will no longer be able to log in to the app.

Compatibility of Generation 2 Smart Tachographs and existing Vehicle Unit Download Devices

As you may be aware the Generation 2 Smart tachograph, although not compulsory in the UK for non-international journeys until February 21st, 2024, are being fitted into new vehicles.

Registering and logging into the app To access the walkaround checks, you must be registered to the Vision Driver App. To register for the app, you can download the Vision Driver app via the play/app store (Android/IOS) and register with the following details:

Walkaround Checks- Vision Users

This feature has been created to assist operators with their defect management to ensure that their vehicles are in good working order when they leave their base of operation. It is important to note that both the operators and drivers are responsible for ensuring the safety of vehicles.

Planned Maintenance

The maintenance planner in Vision allows you to add maintenance appointments and upload documents to Vision. Contact tachosupport@logistics.org.uk to ask for the Planned Maintenance feature to be enabled.

Combined Infringement, Event and Debrief Dashboard

Following feedback from several customers we have created a combined overview of our infringement and debrief dashboards which benefits from the following: • One screen showing both graphical and tabular data • Infringement summary, detail and debrief summary information all in one place • Links directly to the day detail page • Filters available that effect all the dashboards • Snap tools to show hierarchies • Tooltips to show monthly details of infringements and debrief information
