sita SITA UK given FTA Compliance Award

Daniel Brooks, Fleet Compliance and Audit Manager for SITA UK, said -
“On 26th March 2015, we (SITA UK) held our annual Fleet Compliance Awards which were again supported by the FTA. Awards were issued to both managers and drivers for high standards of fleet compliance, across a wide range of areas such as MOT pass rates, internal audit results, and Tachograph infringements.

The FTA sponsored two specific awards - the Roadworthiness Award going to the Hampshire Workshop and the Tachograph Compliance Award going to the Preston Branch. As Fleet Compliance and Audit Manager for SITA UK, these awards are extremely important as they recognise and reward staff members who have excelled in this area. The continued support of the FTA also further demonstrates the close working relationship between both companies. We utilise VIS Services for both quality monitoring and Gate Exit checks on a regular basis, with results analysed by our internal monitoring team, which then feed into an overall 'risk score' for each location and workshop. The Tachograph analysis undertaken by the FTA is also utilised in this way, as well of course as being used by each location to manage and reduce infringements”.
