Driver behaviour risk management and collision investigation

With more LCVs operating on UK roads than ever before, managing road risk and driver behaviour has never been more important for fleet operators. This session shows how safer driver behaviours can be normalised in efficient fleet operations, deliver cost savings and how to build in resilience to risk and effectively manage collision investigations.

Decarbonising an LCV fleet - the art of the possible

Transport decarbonisation is becoming an ever more pressing priority for fleet managers as they navigate through a mass of information about new technologies. This session will help operators to de-risk the decarbonisation plans for LCV fleets and cover the big questions such as when and where to switch to electric, how to recover EVs and what's the best way to manage driver adoption.

Managing risks of implementing decarbonisation technology for LCV and mixed fleets: the legal and health and safety perspective

Phase out dates for new petrol and diesel vans are now less than a decade away, so how can fleet operators manage the risks which might arise during the transition to new decarbonisation technologies while still operating conventionally operated vehicles? Find out more about the legal and safety considerations for operating LCV and mixed fleets in this session including an update on the HSE comments on the 'race to Net Zero' and conducting an effective risk assessment.

Charlotte Hunt, Associate - Regulatory & Corporate Defence Team, Birketts LLP

Van plan campaign

With the needs of commercial electric vans seemingly overlooked by policy makers, Logistics UK has partnered with other organisations including the BVRLA to launch a Zero Emisison Van Plan. This session will set out the aims of the campaign and how van operators can support the campaign to ensure the needs of van drivers and operators are better served to help manage the transition to Net Zero.

Catherine Bowen, Senior Policy Advisor, BVRLA

Decarbonising blue lights

Ensuring LCV fleets can continue to meet customer needs and demands is a big challenge when transitioning to zero emission operations. When the vehicles are working on life or death situations, how do operators meet the net zero challenge without putting lives at risk? This session hears how NHS and Police services are managing their decarbonisation journey.

Richard Muirhead, Director of Commercial Services, West Mercia Police

Driver safety and wellbeing in the modern era

Driver safety and wellbeing has always been a key priority for vehicle operators but with fast changing technology in vehicles and increasing pressure on drivers, how can fleet operators ensure they are taking the right steps to meet those obligations? This final session covers these areas and more, to provide operators with up to date information they need to keep their drivers safe and well.
