Fancy a ticket to ride… to Transport Hub?

Labour Transport Hub eventFollowing a hugely successful programme at the Lib Dem conference in Birmingham, the Transport Hub will be on the road again this weekend. We will be joining the Labour party for 10 events across 3 days in the heart of Merseybeat country - Liverpool’s Albert Dock.

View the full Labour programme or visit the Transport Hub website for additional information, including details on next week’s programme at the Conservative conference.

Transport Hub is a great opportunity to raise key issues with a political audience. FTA will once again be joined by Quentin Willson for our event on Sunday evening. He will be discussing the balance between affordable fuel, the environment and the economic recovery with Transport Select Committee stalwart Graham Stringer MP, Liverpool’s Cabinet member for Transport Cllr Malcolm Kennedy and Rhian Davies of sustainable transport group ACT TravelWise.

Please note that unlike the Lib Dem and Conservative events, the Labour Transport Hub is inside the secure area so you will need a secure pass to attend. This will not be the case in Manchester next week, where the FTA event is a public meeting.

Among the other topics to be discussed at other Transport Hub events are sustainable transport, tax on aviation, Labour’s policy review and more. It really does look set to be as diverse and interesting as the Lib Dem event earlier this week.
