Dear valued customer,

Following on from my recent message updating you on Vision functionality I can now confirm that the migration of our Vision platform onto the cloud has now been completed. This has been a key part of meeting our long-term plan to move to high availability and scalable systems from which users of the Vision platform will benefit in future.

I realise that following minor engineering work around our back up processes, some of you may have experienced occasional and minor disruptions to performance and availability. You’ll appreciate that this is usual under such circumstances, but naturally we are working hard to minimise disruption and apologise for any frustrations this may have caused at the time.

We are now preparing a second stage of the migration to move some support servers into the cloud. This should be less disruptive however, it will be necessary to take down other services such as gateway this weekend. Whilst we don’t expect Vision to be affected, there will be some interruption to the FTA gateway platform. The planned work will take place on Sat 3rd Feb from 08:00 for 1hr, and then again at 18:00 for 1hr.

A notice will be posted on Vision through the ‘new features’ page to appraise all users of the same.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Kind regards,

Nigel Smart
