Schedule 2 Certification and Tanker Inspections
Home Membership/services Vehicle Inspection Service Schedule 2 Certification and Tanker Inspections
|
FTA's Schedule 2 Certification and Tanker Inspections provide comprehensive examinations of tankers and their associated equipment in accordance with Schedule 2 (formally known as Reg 11). All tankers (pre May 2004) are tested using low pressure oxygen free nitrogen gas (OFN). All tankers (post May 2004) are tested in accordance with the latest ADR regulations. FTA is appointed by the Department for Transport (DfT) as a tank inspection body and accredited by UKAS. |

- The number of tank inspections carried out per annum is tailored to suit the operator's maintenance programme
- A detailed inspection report is then supplied, listing any defects found
"For many years we have used both the Regular Tank Inspection and Schedule 2 Certification services, and we find FTA's low pressure gas testing scheme invaluable. By using these services we know that our tanks are safe, legal and reliable. Furthermore, I can rely on FTA to give me an expert and impartial report at the end of the test."
