By joining the Well Driven Scheme you are recognising a commitment to the Good Lorry Code and the Good Van Code - the industry's own codes of good practice. The codes promote high standards of driving, vehicle maintenance and consideration for other road users.
Vehicles in the scheme display the distinctive Well Driven? logo showing 24 hour, 365 day a year, free phone number for members of the public to call with their comments or complaints about the manner in which a vehicle is being driven. Under the terms of the code operators must investigate and make full responses in writing to all callers within 21 days.
