Health and safety should form the basis of every aspect of your operation, from loading vehicles and moving goods to manoeuvring vehicles and site layouts. Operators need to ensure there are preventive measures within their organisation to reduce the likelihood of accidents and everyone should take responsibility for their own safety as well as each other's. There should be procedures in place to record any accidents that do happen and also near-misses.
