Terms and Conditions: Should you be unable to attend the event, a substitute can be nominated and details will need to be shared with logisticsawards@fta.co.uk. We are able to accept substitute delegates if notified in writing by Wednesday 6th December. We regret that we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. FTA reserves the right to refuse entry to delegates for non-payment or failure to comply with the code of conduct. FTA reserves the right to cancel an event and to change the venue and content of the programme at any time. All published prices exclude VAT.
 
Awards entries
1. The FTA Logistics Awards 2017 are organised by The Freight Transport Association, Hermes House, St John's Rd, Tunbridge Wells TN4 9UZ.
2. By entering the Awards, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms of Entry, and to the use of personal information in accordance with FTA’s Privacy Policy. In addition, entrants may be contacted by third party organisations to share best practice in relation to your entry. Please notify FTA in writing if you do not wish to be contacted in this way.
3. Entry to the Awards is open to all.
4. All entries must be submitted in English, submitted online, and comply with the entry criteria. The entrant, or the entrant’s employer, must have worked on the project that is featured in the entry.
5. The FTA pledges to trade legally and respect all laws including the Trade Sanctions imposed by EU and US Governments.
6. All entries must be received by the FTA by Monday, 9th October 2017. The FTA accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost or incomplete entries and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of dispatch shall not be proof of entry.
7. Entrants whose entries are shortlisted will be notified during October 2017.
8. The FTA reserve the right at its sole discretion to alter or cancel the Awards and to amend these Terms of Entry without prior notice.
9. The Awards are judged by a panel of independent judges. The judges reserve the right to re-classify or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of these Terms of Entry. No feedback will be given on individual entries. In all matters, the decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
10. Winners will be announced at the FTA Logistics Awards to be held on Wednesday, 13th December 2017, in London. The FTA will contact all shortlisted organisations’ in advance to book tickets to attend the Awards. The FTA do not provide free attendance to the Awards for winners or shortlisted organisations.
11. All entries may be used by The FTA for our normal commercial purposes including within publicity and marketing for the Awards and as part of a database within FTA’s websites and other products. You agree to such use without restriction or condition. FTA shall be entitled to edit or amend your entry as it sees fit for these purposes.
12. These Terms of Entry shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Code of conduct. We ask for your co-operation in supporting the event organiser, speakers and delegates in ensuring our events are delivered successfully. Intimidating and disruptive actions or antisocial behaviour directed at speakers, staff or delegates can result in removal from the site.
