Freight Transport Association is one of the UK's largest trade associations and represents the transport interests of companies moving goods and people by road, rail, sea and air. 

Boasting a rich heritage, FTA has been supporting the interests of the transport industry since 1889.

    It's an open-door policy that goes all the way to the top - every employee has direct access to the Chief Executive.

    Internal communications ensures clear, consistent messages are shared with all staff to easily inform, include and engage.  Departmental communications champions contribute to Inside FTA (a weekly emailed newsletter and monthly video) and Yammer (a business social media platform which is only accessed by FTA staff). We also bring together departments that work in different locations through both face-to-face meetings and online Skype meetings.
