FTA Addressing Select Committee on Olympics Issues

Posted on: Wednesday, 23 May 2012 by Mike Webb

FTA will be in Westminster this afternoon giving evidence to the House of Commons Transport Committee, formerly known as the Transport Select Committee, as part of the Committee's Transport and the Olympics Inquiry.

The Olympics is a monumental logistical challenge for FTA members; both in terms of delivering the Games itself and maintaining the supply chain that keeps London going amid the extra disruption that will result from the extra numbers of people and limits on deliveries.

FTA will report back on the inquiry, in which FTA will be giving evidence alongside the Federation of Wholsesale Distributors, the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association and London Councils.
