Freight Transport Association Roadworthiness Award for Hanson Building Products 2011

Hanson Building products, part of Hanson UK, use the FTA’s Vehicle Inspection Service to quality monitor and help ensure the safety and reliability of their fleet.

FTA carries out these inspections at 10 Hanson Building product sites and at the end of the year we presented a roadworthiness award to the site whose vehicles are the most compliant, based on the safety maintenance of the vehicles. This will cover any faults that would be workshop-related but also those which the drivers would be expected to find and report upon.

The 2011 award has been presented to the Measham depot by Jon Noble. Measham’s vehicles displayed the fewest number of safety-related faults and also a very high standard of driver defect reporting.

Pictured receiving the award are from second left, Shaun Bywater (Delivery Agent), Lee Hall (Area Transport Manager), Garth Brooks (Delivery Agent) and Kev Ensor (Delivery Agent).
