FTA on the campaign trail in Newton Abbot

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) continues its series of visits for parliamentary candidates to member companies.

This afternoon FTA will be in Devon to help show the Conservative candidate for Newton Abbot, Anne-Marie Morris, the Viridor Waste Services’ transport facility. FTA will also explain to Ms Morris its five manifesto commitments in greater detail.

Educating politicians about logistics

Ms Morris recently received FTA’s Logistics Manifesto and was keen to learn more about the daily pressures faced by the commercial transport industry.

She is one of nearly 80 parliamentary candidates across the length and breadth of the country to express their interest in learning more about logistics by meeting a local operator.
