I've worked at FTA since September 1989. A friend of mine was working here and only ever said good things about them. When I first joined I was an audio typist in the Training Department and then became a Training Administrator. From there, I moved to Administration in Vehicle Inspection Services and finally joined HR.
FTA has continued to invest in my development and I have completed my Certificate in Personnel Practice which will allow me to develop my career in HR. Your hard work really doesn't go unnoticed here.
I really enjoy working with such a friendly team and it's always felt like a great place to work. The variety is also a huge bonus and the nature of my job means that projects are always changing. Something new is continually happening, because we're a growing company. The environment here is also very happy and is fairly relaxed, which I like.
Another great part of FTA is the social life. I help run the social club, which has around 70 members in Tunbridge Wells, and we have regular trips to the theatre, quiz nights and we've also been to Brand's Hatch.
